“Bridge of the Future” China – Central and Eastern Europe Youth Development Forum

The president of European Youth Association participated as delegate in the Bridge of the Future ”China – Central and Eastern Europe Youth Development Forum. The theme of the forum was “Consolidating Innovative Forces and Promoting Youth Development Together”.

This forum is one of the fruits of excellent cooperation between European Youth Association and China-Central and Eastern European countries. Smooth progress was made in our cooperation, which facilitates the mutual exchange of experience, ideas, discuss matters of direct concern to young people, share best practices and work together for a better future. Exchanges and cooperation in youth sector, education, innovation and entrepreneurship and culture continues to expand.

During the two-day forum, he spoke to the forum on the topics of youth movements and youth issues. He said that we are living in challenging times. The youth of today Is the future of tomorrow and if we want change, we need to invest in us and train us properly. Investing in young people is crucial if we achieve social, economic and environmental gains, leaving no one behind. We have the largest youth generation in the history of the planet, according to the United Nations, there are 1.8 billion young people and they are changing the world as we speak! We need to work together and we need greener communities for healthier and happier lives, better physical and mental health, and better quality of life. The active engagement of youth in sustainable development efforts is central to achieving sustainable, inclusive and stable societies by the target date, and to averting the worst threats and challenges to sustainable development, including the impacts of climate change, unemployment, poverty, gender inequality, conflict and migration.

During the week, we visited: the Beijing Youth Palace, BOE Technology Group, Apollo Park – self driving base and experience unmanned vehicles, indusial zones with enterprises, Gangzhou Port Group, China Railway Group, the Forbidden city, the Great Wall, experienced Tai Chai and Tuanfan making, played friendly football match and tried tradition Chinese food, watched martial arts and Kung Fu performance and listened tradition Chinese music.
